On behalf of the Wiley Way Soiree committee, THANK YOU for supporting an amazing inaugural event with your gifts and attendance! Your generosity was incredible and your dance moves were top notch. The laughter, connections and community-building that filled the tent and venue at Maywood Hall & Garden were a dream realized.
The Soiree was a benefit to celebrate the three nonprofit organizations that all support Wiley International Studies Magnet Elementary School: the Wiley Elementary Foundation, Wiley PTA and Cecilia Rawlins Fund. Through sponsorships, ticket sales, donations and raffles, these groups raised a combined $13,200 thanks to Saturday night. Of this, over $9,500 was raised for the Foundation's goals.
The Wiley Foundation, Wiley PTA and Cecilia Rawlins Fund are uniting to launch a new annual fundraiser to benefit the students, teachers and families at Wiley International Studies Magnet Elementary School. These three non-profit organizations work to support the needs of our school community throughout the year.
The Wiley Way Soiree is an opportunity for parents and friends of the school to have fun and learn how to contribute to our award-winning school’s stability and success through volunteer and financial support. Our goal this year for the Soiree is to foster a strong school community by focusing on the pillars of the “Wiley Way”: collaboration, empathy, kindness and respect.
This adults-only event on Saturday, October 29, 2022, will be held at 7:30-10:30 pm at Trophy Brewing’s Maywood Hall & Garden, located at 622 Maywood Avenue. Look for a big white tent! The night will offer heavy hors d’oeuvres, sweet treats, beer/wine, DJ music, and contests! Each ticket comes with two free beer/wine coupons for the night. A cash bar is available for additional drink purchases. Date night attire suggested.
