Board of Directors

Lyndsay Hanna, President

Lyndsay Hanna is a strategic operations consultant specializing in strategy design and deployment inclusive of change management and company culture.  Her experience spans Pharma, Department of Defense, and Retail.  Lyndsay graduated Michigan State and moved to the Triangle immediately following.  She fell in love with the warm weather and unique Raleigh vibe.  She and her husbandhave two kids at Wiley (4th & 2nd grade.)   You can usually find them enjoying the playground during walker pick-up. 

Kim Jokisch, Vice President

Kim Jokisch is a credentialed executive coach, facilitator, and the founder of Jokisch Coaching LLC. Kim brings over 25 years of global corporate experience, including leadership roles in Marketing Communications and HR at high-growth companies. She holds a BA in English from Illinois Wesleyan University, studied abroad at The University of Sheffield, and completed her coaching studies at North Carolina State University. Kim loves to travel and spend time outdoors with her husband, son, and dog

Sarah Madigan, Secretary

Sarah and her husband, Patrick, own and operate a real estate team based in Raleigh, where Sarah leads the day-to-day operations. A proud North Carolinian and graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill, she spent time living in various cities after college but ultimately returned to her roots—calling Raleigh home for over a decade. Outside of work and family life with their two daughters, Amelia (4th grade) and Olivia (2nd grade), Sarah enjoys running, reading, and exploring her creative side. 

Carter Pettibone, Treasurer

Carter Pettibone is a city planner and urban designer who has worked with North Carolina municipalities including Huntersville, Asheville, and most recently, the City of Raleigh. He has served on the board and been chair of numerous projects of the Raleigh Jaycees, the volunteer community service group. An Ohio native, Carter attended the University of Cincinnati prior to moving to North Carolina. He and his wife Deidre are the proud parents of Tristan (Wiley 2nd) and Riley (Ligon 6th). 

Chris Wetzel

Chris Wetzel is a finance professional who specializes in technology & entertainment. Born in New Jersey and raised in North Carolina, he began his career as a CPA in Chicago before moving to San Francisco. After ten years in corporate roles, he transitioned to startups and eventually settled in Raleigh. Chris & his wife, Heather, have two children: Wilder (3rd) & Poppy (3). He holds a BS in Computer Science from NC State, a Master of Accounting from UNC, and an MBA from Northwestern University.

Carly Eklund

Carly Eklund is a trained nurse with a background in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, although she now spends her days caring for her 3 children Hugo (5th), Pippy (3rd), and Dagny (4 years). Carly is a North Carolina native but left for high school in Florida and then onto the University of South Carolina prior returning to NC with her husband, Tom, in 2014. She has been involved in the Wiley community for 5 years now and loves supporting this special school in any way she can. 

Wes Johnson

Wes Johnson is a commercial real estate executive and entrepreneur with 20+ years of experience in brokerage and entrepreneurship. A Raleigh native, he attended Wake County public schools K–12 before graduating from NC State. Wes and his wife, Jackie, have two kids at Wiley: Rhodes (3rd) and Ryland (1st). Wes is passionate about supporting public education and giving back to the community that shaped him. Their golden retriever, Chip, was “expelled” from Wiley and is now home-schooled.
