Wiley Elementary Foundation

The Wiley Elementary Foundation (WEF) is a non-profit organization with the mission to enrich every Wiley student’s experience. 

We raise money to supplement teacher and staff funding for our award-winning International Studies magnet school, beyond what is provided by the Wake County Public School System. 

This critical funding helps expand the capacity of teachers and staff essential to our school. These funds result in more elective offerings, increased student choice, smaller class sizes, stronger collaborative opportunities, additional focused instruction, and extra magnet program support.

With the recent 2024 budget cuts, our need is greater than ever. Schools across the district are struggling to maintain their staffs at existing levels. Supporting the Wiley Elementary Foundation can help fund critical resources needed to continue Wiley excellence. Our goal for the 2024-25 school year is to contribute $30,000 to Wiley.

In the summer of 2020, the Wiley Elementary Foundation produced this beautiful portrait of our school's past and future. It features touching memories from Robert L. McMillan (Wiley Student 1929-35) and inspiring insights about what makes Wiley so special from Leslie Taylor (Past Principal). As the world grappled with a pandemic that kept us apart, Wiley's resilience and commitment to its teachers and students stood strong, as it has for generations.
